Early Symptoms of Gynecological Tumors
As we’ve mentioned, there are many types of gynecological tumors, both benign and malignant, and the early signs of different diseases vary.
Generally speaking, gynecological tumors have these common manifestations:
The first is abnormal vaginal bleeding, which is typically irregular,
It is important to differentiate it from normal menstruation.
The second is abnormal vaginal discharge, such as an increase or decrease in discharge volume,
Changes in color, as well as alterations in the consistency of the discharge. Typically, any changes like pus, blood, or foul odor in the discharge should be taken seriously.
Third is changes in urination and bowel movements. Pressure and invasion by tumors can cause alterations such as frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, oliguria, anuria, hematuria, or even fistula formation, leading to abnormalities in both urination and bowel movements. That's all for today. In the next session, we'll continue discussing early signs of gynecological tumors.
Fourth is lower abdominal pain. Pressure, invasion, rupture, or torsion of the tumor itself can all cause pain. Some patients may also experience discomfort such as bloating or a feeling of rectal heaviness.
Fifth is lower abdominal masses. Some women may palpate a mass in the lower abdomen themselves, while others discover it through routine check-ups. The masses can vary in consistency—some may be soft, others firm; some cystic, others solid. If such masses are detected, it's important to take them seriously and promptly seek medical examination.
Gynecological tumors come in many types, and their symptoms vary. The manifestations listed above are among the more common ones and can be significant for early disease detection. However, to better prevent the occurrence of gynecological tumors, regular health check-ups are essential. This approach enables early detection and timely treatment.
