Do you know how cancer develops?
Modern medicine, through the study of genes, has discovered some possible causes that may promote the occurrence of cancer.
First, it is gene mutation, such as the formation of oncogenes. Oncogenes refer to nucleic acid fragments that can transform normal cells into tumor cells, and the formation of oncogenes promotes the occurrence of cancer.
Second, tumor suppressor genes are significantly reduced. Tumor suppressor genes can inhibit the occurrence of carcinogenesis. The loss or functional impairment of these genes prevents the suppression of carcinogenesis, leading to cellular deterioration under the influence of carcinogenic factors.
Third, apoptosis-regulating genes. The growth of tumors depends on the balance between cell proliferation and apoptosis. If this balance is disrupted, it can easily lead to tumor formation.
Changes in DNA repair genes. During the DNA repair process, gene mutations may occur, resulting in tumor formation.
